Please allow me this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Boyd Marley.  You may know me from my service in the Maine Legislature, as a teacher, or simply as a neighbor and parent.  I am a long time special education teacher, father of two and resident of South Portland who was born in Westbrook.  I've taught in the South Portland Schools since 1994.  I also had the honor of being a member of the legislature where I served as the Chairperson of the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation, overseeing a $600 million dollar budget.

  I find that the most rewarding work is that of a regional nature. My recent experience on the Jetport's Terminal Expansion Building Committee led me to run for the County Commission. Seeing the economic impact that such projects have on the region energizes me.
